The goal for this lecture is to familiarize the students to the basic ideas of plotting with matplotlib, Basemap and smopuy.

- Building an Airport Network
- Combining airports that are too close into “super airports”
- Population dataset
- K-means/Voronoi tesselation
- etc…
By the end of the lecture the students will be able to generate complex figures and maps.
